The European Finance Association charges €50 fee for submitting to the EFA 2009 Bergen meeting. The Executive Committee has decided to change the fee structure of the meetings which means that the paper submission fee is increased marginally. At the same time the registration fee of the meeting is reduced substantially. Moreover, by submitting papers, you get a €50 discount in the registration fee. From 2010 you will become a member of the European Finance Association for the year when submitting a paper to the meeting. One of the benefits of being a member of the European Finance Association is that you get a subscription of the Journal, Review of Finance. 2009 is the transition year into the new fee structure. The Executive Committee has decided that all who submit papers to the meeting in 2009 also become members and will receive Review of Finance for 2009.
